QUESTIONS
What is Tire Pressure Pro?
Tire Pressure Pro is a user-based app where you input your vehicle's details, and it provides recommendations for optimal tire pressures. It's all about enhancing efficiency based on the information you provide.
What if I'm not able to fill out all my vehicle data?
For optimal performance settings, it's best to input as much information as you can into the app. Tire Pressure Pro utilizes the original equipment manufacturer settings to provide tailored tire pressure recommendations, ensuring optimal performance and safety based on your vehicle's factory specifications.
The recommended tire data doesn't match my past track notes and data?
By providing more data, we can refine the results over time to better match your specific needs and preferences. It's all about continuous improvement. And as we hone in on your specific variables, we'll adapt and fine-tune our approach, making sure we're aligning closer to your past experiences and goals. It'll become more precise with every round of data. It's a dynamic process.
What's one of the most important tasks after a day at the track?
After a track day, it is essential to return your tires to the OEM‑recommended pressures before driving on public roads. Track settings are deliberately adjusted to maximize grip, balance, and heat management under high‑speed, high‑load conditions, but they are not safe or efficient for everyday driving. OEM pressures, which are listed on the driver’s door frame sticker or in the owner’s manual, are the result of extensive manufacturer testing to ensure stability, braking performance, fuel economy, and even tire wear in normal conditions. Failing to reset pressures can lead to overinflation, which reduces the tire’s contact patch and increases stopping distances, or underinflation, which causes excess heat buildup, poor fuel efficiency, and potential sidewall damage. By resetting to OEM specifications once the tires have cooled, you maintain predictable handling, extend tire life, and ensure compliance with the safety standards engineered into their vehicle. In short, track pressures are for performance, but OEM pressures are for safety and reliability on the street.
Tire Pressure Pro can't find the track I'm at?
• Make sure GPS/location services are turned on
• Confirm the app has permission to access location while in use (check phone settings
• Ensure you have a stable data connection (Wi‑Fi or cellular)
• Check if the track is supported in the app’s database; if not, submit a request to add it
• Restart the app or your device to refresh location services
• Turn off battery saver mode, which can restrict GPS accuracy
• Step outside if you’re in a garage or paddock building to get a clearer GPS signal
